Our Firm

Hinde Group partners with individual and institutional investors to achieve superior long-term investment returns. The firm invests in publicly-traded securities using a value-oriented approach. Our portfolio is concentrated in a limited number of investments that we deem exceptional. Most of the firm's investments are in the equity securities of great businesses that are out-of-favor, misunderstood or underappreciated. Hinde Group invests in these securities with an indefinite holding period in mind and expects to hold each position for at least several years. The firm also selectively invests in securities involved in event-driven special situations, such as spin-offs, restructurings, litigation, and mergers & acquisitions.

The firm’s name is inspired by the Golden Hinde, a galleon used to circumnavigate the globe between 1577 and 1580.
